Job Description |
Within the United Church of Canada, The Shared Services unit is seeking an individual to fill the role of Digitization Assistant in the Archives on a full-time term basis (35 hrs/wk) ending June 30, 2025.
The Digitization Assistant prepares records for digitization, compiles and enters metadata, conducts quality control of files, and ensures that digitized surrogates are stored and ingested into the Archives’ digital preservation system. This role assists with uploading and adding descriptive metadata to files to aid with discovery and supports the General Council Archives team with the digitization of residential school, day school records and Indigenous missions. |
