Job Description
What is the opportunity ?
As a QE Analyst, you will be responsible for effective planning, executing, automating and tracking functional tests for Payment Services maintenance releases or projects.
What will you do?
- Create test plans, test cases and test scripts based on requirement documents and business User Stories
- Develop and maintain automated test suites using test automation tools
- Execute test cases (manual/automated) document test results and raise defects whenever necessary.
- Work with JIRA, Confluence, qTest for test case management, defect management, test reporting and other functions
- Participate in agile ceremonies like, Sprint planning, grooming sessions, stand-up meetings, demo sessions, and retrospective meetings
- Participate E2E and integration testing
- Participate in defect triage and Scrum meetings
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- Good knowledge of QE Processes, Testing Life Cycle, SDLC and Defect Management processes for application testing, development and support with hands-on experience in creating test cases, executing manual/automated test cases
- With a Computer Engineering, Computer Science degree/diploma or equivalent experience having minimum 2 years of experience in a QA/test environment with a focus on technical, automated testing in a variety of environments (Cloud, distributed and mainframe, business workflows and services/APIs, databases).
- Knowledge of Testing Methodologies with hands on experience on JIRA and Confluence.
- Experience in Micro Service testing, Kafka and API testing
- Strong problem solving, design, and analytical skills
- Experience in test automation frameworks/tools e.g., (Robot Framework, SoapUI or ReadyAPI, Postman, Selenium, UFT/Lean UFT/RestAssured/, TestNG) and development languages (e.g.Python, Java, etc.)
- Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps Tools such as Jenkins, GIT, etc
- Database technologies (e.g. MongoDB, DB2, Oracle, SQL, IMS) and SQL experience.
