The first installment of U of T’s Black Research Networks Dialogues Speaker Series for 2023/24 features the Faculty of Information’s SA Smythe and curator Gaëtane Verna (Wexner Center/La Biennale di Venezia) for a conversation about how the concept of Black Poesis – the generative formation of a Black aesthetics – has influenced their work, the arts and the world.
The event takes place both in-person and online on Friday Oct. 20 from 6 to 8 p.m.
