Free U of T Conference, MINDING OUR MINDS: Mental Health in Higher Education 2020

The Faculty of Information would like to invite you to attend the ninth annual U of T Conference, MINDING OUR MINDS: Mental Health in Higher Education 2020. See conference details below.

This event is free for students; please see conference and registration details below. We believe this is a valuable opportunity to learn from each other, engage in meaningful discussions on this important topic, and to learn from community members’ diverse perspectives. Representatives from the Faculty of Information’s Student Services team will be attending to gain insight into how we can better help our students who have mental health concerns.

U of T Conference MINDING OUR MINDS: Mental Health in Higher Education 2020

The Office of the Dean of Students at Victoria University in the University of Toronto is hosting our ninth annual conference entitled Minding Our Minds: Mental Health in Higher Education on Thursday, February 27, 2020, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

A detailed conference program will be shared shortly, however, the day will feature two keynote speakers, a panel discussion, student testimonials and personal reflections, and two breakout sessions: one tailored toward administrators and staff helping students with mental health concerns both in practice and in policy and one tailored to teaching relevant coping mechanisms for students dealing with anxiety.

Student registration: All University of Toronto students, and Victoria University staff are invited to attend the conference free of charge. Volunteers welcome.

Staff & Community Registration: UofT faculty, staff and community members, are invited to register here. The conference fee is $60, payable on registration.
