Overview and Application Guidelines
Purpose & Eligibility
To be awarded to one (1) student per year who has achieved high standing in previous academic work and who has been granted admission to the first year of the Master of Information (MI) program on a full-time basis.
Recipients must remain registered full-time for the entire academic year they hold the award.
Award Value & Duration
$1200 CAD. Award disbursements may be split across multiple terms depending on total value.
This award is non-renewable (one year only).
How to Apply
No separate application is required.
Deadline to Apply
Submit a complete admission application to the program by January 31 of any year. It is the responsibility of applicants to notify referees of any early deadlines for submission of documents to be considered for entrance awards consideration.
Selection Process
Recipient(s) will be informed via email from the Awards Committee (awards.ischool@utoronto.ca).
