Overview and Application Guidelines
Purpose & Eligibility
To be awarded as an entrance scholarship in late winter or early spring to one (1) incoming full or part-time student in the Master of Information (MI) program who has demonstrated an interest in public librarianship.
Preference to a student in the Quinte area.
Financial need will be considered, and student must have good academic standing.
Award Value & Duration
$2000 CAD. Award disbursements may be split across multiple terms depending on total value.
This award is non-renewable (one year only).
How to Apply
No separate application required.
Deadline to Apply
Submit a complete application for admission to the MI program by January 31 of any year. It is the responsibility of applicants to notify referees of any early deadlines for submission of documents to be considered for entrance awards consideration.
Selection Process
Recipient(s) will be informed via email from the Awards Committee (awards.ischool@utoronto.ca).
