Overview and Application Guidelines
Purpose & Eligibility
Awarded to up to five (5) Master of Museum Studies (MMSt) Students per year in order to pursue a twelve week summer training internship that usually occurs between first and second year of the Program at a small sized Canadian museum, gallery or historic site (with at least 3-4 permanent employees). This organization must be a member of the Canadian Museums Association or an accredited provincial association.
Award Value & Duration
$1200–$1500 CAD; varies from year to year. Award disbursements may be split across multiple terms depending on total value.
This award is non-renewable (one year only).
How to Apply
All Master of Museum Studies (MMSt) students enrolled in the MSL3000H Internship course are automatically considered for this award.

Recipient(s) will be informed via email from the Awards Committee (awards.ischool@utoronto.ca).
