Great Explorations – Digital Transformation and Storytelling

Submitted on Wednesday, March 27, 2024

This Spring 2024, UTSC presents the 15th installment of its inspiring speaker series Great Explorations on the theme, Digital Transformation and Storytelling.

The power of storytelling through the ages has not wavered, but the available media we use has expanded. Digital transformation is the incorporation of technology into existing processes, practices, and strategies, to improve efficiency and experience.

The speaker series will consider the changing landscape of how we:

  • communicate and operate in our evolving workplaces and communities;
  • share our stories, music and activism;
  • work and create community-engaged policy in a rapidly growing digital economy.

All sessions will be offered in a hybrid model – attend in person at the Catalyst Centre at UTSC or watch the live stream online.

Two professors with graduate appointments at the Faculty of Information will be presenting: Assistant Professor Rafael Grohmann and Assistant Professor Mary Elizabeth (“M.E.”) Luka.
