Re-Imagining a Community: Our Third Place EXHIBITION

Submitted on Monday, March 11, 2024
This is the opening exhibition of Re-imagining a Community: Our Third Place, which curates all of the participant work that was created in our in-person and our online zine workshops on December 14, 2023 and February 7, 2024, that were facilitated by Keith Cheng and Cleopatria Peterson respectively. These zine workshops aimed to highlight 2SLGBTQIA+, BIPOC, and disabled artists and scholars. The purpose of these workshops were to develop a collection that centers the experiences of our students at the University of Toronto, mainly the Faculty of Information (iSchool).

This exhibition opening and display will be moderated by Lenora Huỳnh (MI Candidate, Faculty of Information: Archives and Records Management, University of Toronto). This event is part of the EDIU Fellowship Program and presented by the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Unit at University of Toronto’s Faculty of Information.
