| The Elgin Library has a contract position available for a Summer Student. The program, made possible by financial assistance from the Government of Canada through the Young Canada Works in Heritage Institutions Program, as well as the County of Elgin, entails the following:
* Auditing of approximately 3,500 items in the library’s collection based on diversity, equity and inclusion considerations; |

| The successful candidate will be enrolled in post-secondary education in library and information science or a related discipline. Familiarity with integrated library systems and previous experience in a public library setting are definite assets.
Hours: Monday to Friday (schedule to be determined) 560 hours total, part-time or full-time options available Duration: May 13, 2024 until 560 hours are worked by end of 2024 |
